Pascale and her sons took great care of our wedding: from the preparation to the decoration, to the timing and coordination between all the service providers...we had a perfect wedding where we had nothing to do on the big day except enjoy our loved ones, with beautiful weather to boot! All of our guests were won over by the venue which is magnificent! The site also has a large number of beds and some rooms have been renovated and are just magnificent. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
Every wedding here has its own magic, but one of the most memorable was that of a couple who brought together nearly 300 guests: a secular ceremony under the trees in the park, a cocktail reception at the end of the day with a golden light on the Loue valley, dinner under the illuminated marquee... The guests stayed on site in the rooms of the castle, which allowed for a party that continued until the brunch the next day in a very warm atmosphere. Many still speak today of the calm, the landscape, the emotion - all say that they felt transported.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Take the time to define what's essential to you—what really matters to you—before getting bogged down in the details. Choose your venue, imagine the atmosphere, and build the rest around it: service providers, decor, and flow. A venue like Espace Beltane then allows you to do a lot of things with confidence, because we have backup solutions in place, quality service providers, and comprehensive logistical support.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
We loved a ceremony in the lavender-lined garden, where the bride and groom had small bouquets of local flowers distributed to the guests at the end. Their photos as a couple under the ancient oak tree, with the castle as a backdrop and the golden evening light, accompanied by a declaration of love made in the shade—all this created a truly authentic moment, one that will remain etched in our memories.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
The park at sunset, with the Loue Valley in the background, is a magical place. The century-old oak tree, the flower-lined paths, and the stone facades of the castle during the wedding preparations or couple photos create a timeless yet emotional experience.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Not yet, but what we can guarantee: every couple is treated with the same care and discretion - you'll feel like a VIP on your wedding day.
What’s your favourite canapé?
We particularly like to offer an appetizer that combines fresh local produce—for example, a mini tartlet made with aromatic local cheese (or fresh goat's cheese) and served with a homemade fruity chutney. This evokes authentic taste and a connection to the local landscape.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
A dessert that's always a hit: a light fruity verrine (seasonal compote or jelly, fresh fruit) paired with a touch of vanilla cream or a light mousse. It's elegant, refreshing, and delicious—perfect for rounding off a hearty meal without feeling heavy.
