Domaine de Montmau has been designed to allow you to create a wedding that truly reflects you, thanks to a variety of complementary and fully modular spaces. Each moment of your day can take place in a perfectly suited setting: an outdoor ceremony with open views over the surrounding landscape, a cocktail reception on a large shaded esplanade, followed by a celebration in a 500 m² Mediterranean courtyard, ideal for festive and convivial atmospheres. A 160 m² reception hall, adjoining the estate’s historic buildings, is also available to welcome your guests in a warm and authentic environment.

One of the key strengths of Domaine de Montmau is the possibility to accommodate your guests on site. From 2027, the estate will offer 90 real beds across several fully equipped independent accommodations, allowing your guests to stay comfortably and extend the celebration beyond a single day.

What is the venue's guest capacity ?

The Domaine de Montmau can accommodate between 2 and 300 guests. The reception hall seats up to 150 guests, while the 500 m² Mediterranean courtyard and the 1,400 m² shaded esplanade allow for much larger events, whether standing or in a mixed configuration.

Is there accommodation on site ?

Yes. The estate currently offers 46 sleeping places across several independent lodgings arranged around the central courtyard. Each accommodation is fully equipped and can sleep between 2 and 6 people, with private kitchens, individual bathrooms with Italian showers, WiFi, and a smart TV. From 2027, the sleeping capacity will be extended to 90 true beds, allowing even more guests to enjoy the full weekend on-site.

Is the venue exclusively reserved or shared with other events ?

The venue hosts only one event per day, so you have full and exclusive use of the estate, no sharing with other groups, for your day and your weekend.

What is the pricing and what does it include ?

Rental starts from €5,000 in low season on weekdays, up to €10,000 in high season for a weekend. The price includes exclusive use of the entire estate: the 160 m² reception hall, the 500 m² interior courtyard, the shaded esplanade, the outdoor ceremony space, the dance floor, parking, and a fully equipped catering kitchen. No additional services are included in the rental fee. A personalised quote is provided on request depending on the date and configuration. Payment is by bank transfer, with a deposit required upon signing the contract.

Is a caterer imposed or can we choose freely ?

No caterer is imposed, you are entirely free to bring your own. The estate works with trusted local professionals it can recommend (including Camille Réceptions), but the choice is entirely yours. There is also no corkage fee : you are welcome to bring your own drinks.

How can the spaces be configured ?

The estate offers several distinct and combinable spaces:

  • An outdoor civil ceremony area with an open view of the estate and its surroundings
  • A 1,400 m² shaded esplanade for the drinks reception and cocktail hour
  • A 500 m² Mediterranean interior courtyard with a stage and covered area, perfect for evening celebrations and outdoor dining
  • A 160 m² reception hall with a dance floor, adjoining the former stables
  • A catering kitchen for your caterer's use
  • A swimming pool and green spaces for relaxation

The layout can be adapted to standing, seated, or mixed configurations for receptions, cocktails, or sit-down dinners.

What are the rules regarding music and event hours ?

There is no set closing time for events, and no musical exclusivity, you are free to choose your own DJ or live music provider. We recommend contacting us directly to discuss any specific constraints related to your setup.

Is there a space available for a civil ceremony ?

Yes, the estate has a dedicated outdoor space for civil ceremonies, with an open view over the beautiful grounds and surroundings. Picture your ceremony surrounded by 40 hectares of nature and vineyards.

What happens in case of bad weather ?

The Domaine de Montmau is designed with weather contingencies in mind. The 500 m² interior courtyard features a covered area (préau), and the 160 m² reception hall provides a fully indoor option for up to 150 seated guests. Additional shelter solutions (marquees, tents) can be arranged through your chosen suppliers. Please contact us to explore the best options for your wedding season.

What are the booking and cancellation terms ?

Payment is made by bank transfer, with a deposit due upon signing the rental contract.
