Domaine de la Volière – A Characterful Wedding Venue in the Loire Valley
Dreaming of an elegant, relaxed wedding surrounded by nature? Domaine de la Volière, in Sainte-Maure-de-Touraine, between Tours and Poitiers, welcomes you to a beautiful and peaceful setting in the heart of the Loire Valley.
The estate comprises a charming 17th-century manor house, extensive wooded parkland, sweeping lawns, a formal courtyard, terraces and a range of spaces where each part of your wedding can have its own atmosphere.
Your Entire Wedding, All in One Place
From a humanist ceremony in the park and drinks reception in the courtyard to an aperitif beneath the covered areas, a wedding breakfast in the Bergerie, dancing in the evening and a relaxed brunch the following day, the estate is perfectly suited to a full wedding weekend with family and friends.
The two large covered outdoor areas, with capacity for up to 300 guests, are a real highlight. They allow you to make the most of the outdoors while providing a practical and attractive option should the weather turn wet or unpredictable.
The Bergerie – A Reception Space Full of Character
Originally a 19th-century sheep barn, the Bergerie provides 180 m² of light-filled reception space, accommodating between 40 and 180 guests for a seated wedding breakfast, or up to 200 guests for a drinks reception.
Large openings look out onto the formal courtyard and parkland. Original Tuffeau stone, exposed beams, oak woodwork and Abbey-style flagstone flooring create a warm and elegant setting with plenty of character.
A separate 27 m² room can be used as a cloakroom, children's area or storage space.
Furniture Available On Site
To make planning your wedding as straightforward as possible, the estate provides a range of furniture and equipment, including round tables, white Napoleon chairs, outdoor chairs, buffet tables, poseur tables and a garden gazebo.
You remain completely free to personalise the décor and create a wedding that reflects your own style and personality.
Accommodation for 29 Guests On Site
Domaine de la Volière has two properties on the estate, providing accommodation for up to 29 guests.
The Logis de l’Étang, a four-star property, sleeps 12 guests and includes bathrooms as well as a bedroom suitable for guests with reduced mobility.
The Logis des Artistes sleeps 17 guests and offers spacious bedrooms, comfortable living areas and a fully equipped kitchen.
Just 500 metres away, the La Garnaudrie gîte provides a further 12 beds. There are also numerous additional accommodation options in the surrounding area.

Arriving from Friday onwards gives you plenty of time to prepare your reception, set up your décor and welcome your guests in a relaxed and stress-free way.
The celebrations can continue the following day with a relaxed and sociable brunch, giving you more time to enjoy being together before everyone heads home.

The estate also offers a landscaped, signposted and surfaced car park with approximately 130 spaces, making parking straightforward for your guests.

As for the grounds, the rooms are very well equipped, with a bathroom/toilet for each room, and everything is of a high standard. There are several refrigerators, large ovens, and a room for looking after young children. The grounds are practically brand new, with recent renovations. Congratulations to Florence and her husband!
