Organization: from Friday morning, the bride and groom, their witnesses and close families will be welcome to receive the wine deliveries
and champagne, decorate the lounges, the glass roof and the dance hall.
Ceremony and reception: you have the places available at a time that suits you.
We will help you find a church near the Château de Sorel. If it is a secular ceremony, we have several gardens with incredible views of the Eure Valley.
The cocktail takes place in the French garden, and on the terraces which overlook the Eure valley to the west. In case of rain, guests will be able to
take shelter under the Stretch tents and in the ground floor lounge.
Dinner takes place in the mirrored lounge and in the glass roof. A magnificent vaulted room welcomes you for your opening ball!

There were 180 of us at the cocktail party, 150 at the dinner, the place was perfect to accommodate this number of guests. The dance room is very well sized, we feared that it would be too small but this is ultimately not the case at all, for 150 it is perfect because we avoid the 'deserted dance floor' effect and this guarantees a great atmosphere for the dancing evening...It is an exceptional place, both grandiose and charming, spectacular and intimate. The view of the valleys all around and the sunset over the lake was magnificent, the interior spaces decorated with a unique, subtle and chic style (the owner is an architect and it shows)...It was truly a beautiful and perfect location for our wedding. One of the most beautiful wedding receptions at Château de Sorel was a romantic and elegant outdoor ceremony, with lavish floral decorations and a dinner under the stars in our French gardens. Guests danced the night away in the vaulted dance hall.

My number 1 tip is to plan well in advance and clearly communicate your wishes to all providers to ensure every detail matches your vision.

I particularly enjoyed one wedding where the bride and groom had personalized each table with photos from their travels together, telling their love story in a very personal and moving way.

My favorite canape is the verrine of foie gras and fig chutney, a delicacy that always pleases guests.

We like to serve gourmet mini-burgers as a midnight snack, perfect for satisfying those little hunger pangs after a night of dancing.
