Château Rieutort is an elegant 30 ha wine estate, dating from the 18th century, located in Languedoc-Roussillon, on the banks of the Hérault River. The complex includes a 2.5 ha park with 2 swimming pools, a SPA containing a giant jacuzzi, a sauna and two massage rooms, a castle with guest rooms as well as historic buildings of an orangery, stables , cellar buildings converted for gîtes. Our wedding offer includes: Exclusive use of the chateau: - park & 2 swimming pools, - a SPA (sauna & jacuzzi), - tables and chairs for 100 people, - accommodation for up to 60 people in the castle suite rooms (5) and gîtes (7), - parking for 100 cars. Deadline for music until 4 a.m. (background music from 3 a.m.). In-house bilingual wedding planner (English and French) is available at an additional cost.

The owners are adorable and very attentive to their customers. A stay based on a delicious dinner accompanied by wine from the estate, a good night's sleep, a breakfast worthy of the greatest hotels and time at the spa/jacuzzi. A very good time, in short, I recommend.We spent one night at Château Rieutort and what more can we say other than: Wonderful. We were superbly welcomed. Great luck, getting married in winter...our date was available. We decided to have the reception in front of the castle next to the orangery and it was simply magnificent. The castle totally contributed to the success of our wedding! A real favorite ! A perfect site for a beautiful wedding. Our most beautiful weddings take place outdoors: fireworks in the vineyards, dancing under the stars until dawn, pool party with saxophonist & DJ with floating pink flamingos, manekin challenge in the park, Alice Tea Party at Wonderland.... What beautiful memories!!!
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Start with the venue – this can determine your date but will also determine the theme, colors, menu, etc.
When everything is settled, make sure you have someone you trust: a family member, friend, your best man/bridesmaid or wedding planner in charge on the big day. You don't want to worry nonsense that day – have someone else supervise your suppliers, coordinate the day's schedule, handle any problems.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
Support – we care about you.
We're here for you on this day: sometimes I glue brides' shoes, remove stains from dresses, pick up wedding guests who got lost along the way, and offer that shot of vodka for couples trembling with stress to leave through the castle door. their guests to say YES in public :) We are here for you that day!
