Château de Montireau

What could be more romantic than getting married in the cold with a roaring fire, and perhaps a blanket of snow? Located just outside the village of Montireau, our estate is a very old fortified farmhouse surrounded by a moat. The buildings form a square courtyard and have been designed to facilitate receptions. A wooded area with century-old trees borders two of the four sides of the property. Aside from this enchanting setting, getting married in winter offers many advantages: Since booking demand is higher during the warmer months, prices are significantly lower during this season. Everyone will remember your wedding because it will be unlike any other. No more competing weddings; you won't have to worry about who will be available on the day, whether it's your friends or the various service providers you'll need (caterers, B&Bs, hotels, bands, etc.). The back-to-back weddings during the summer months can make some of your friends feel lazy and tired of going to weddings every weekend. Getting married in winter is so much more engaging.
