The first origins of the castle date back to the 11th century. It is one of the rare castles in France that has been inhabited continuously for almost 10 centuries and whose history and inhabitants have been known since 1090.
Overlooking the Vendée bocage, it is located in the middle of a landscape of hills, woods, ponds, in a green softness and peaceful calm while being in the immediate vicinity of the village of La Flocellière, where the church and businesses.
