In order to fully satisfy your needs and adapt to the style of your wedding as well as the number of guests, Château de Courbeville provides you with different spaces:
The reception room: Magnificent vaulted stone room of 175m2, it can accommodate up to 150 people for a seated meal, including the dance floor. It overlooks another exclusive space in the south wing of the castle: the gallery arches.
The gallery arches: This 120m2 esplanade, covered and opening onto the main courtyard by large golden stone arches, is the perfect place to receive your guests during the cocktail party.
The main courtyard: This large grassy space of 500m2 which overlooks the Azergues river is entirely enclosed by the surrounding walls, battlements and machicolations of Courbeville. It is also decorated with a Renaissance well from the beginning of the 15th century.
For your outdoor photos and secular ceremonies, the gardens of Château de Courbeville welcome you in an exceptional setting under the protection of its century-old trees.

Too many to detail them all. However, perhaps one of our future brides will be accompanied by her magnificent horse Cheyenne.

Nature, authentic, bohemian, precious, atypical
Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
There are many of them, because at the Château de Courbeville, we are lucky to be able to offer many spaces. I would say, in the park, during the ceremonies, in the shade of bicentennial trees, still in the park, at the swing (XXL) which welcomes the couples after the ceremony. But also, in the main courtyard during the cocktail, or under the gallery arches (golden stone arches dating from the 15th century), but also in front of the well in the main courtyard dating from the Renaissance period, in the hall stone vault dating from medieval times and cut into the rock. Or, on the staircase of the main courtyard which allows group photos to be taken, or at the entrance to the castle with the keep tower and its glazed tiles. In short, many spots are possible.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
At Courbeville Castle, we like to say that it’s like Las Vegas, everything that happens there stays in Courbeville ;)
So, yes, we had the pleasure and honor of welcoming personalities who, in complete privacy, were able to celebrate their weddings within our walls! (shush). And then, each and every one of our lovers are the heroines and heroes of their weekend with us ;)

our place, a medieval & renaissance castle, in its natural setting, overlooking the river, is very atypical and therefore totally unique!
