Description

Located in a fortress built to guard the Bay of Palma, Cap Rocat posed a great restoration challenge. It was about transforming the facilities to hotel use and also complying with the strict regulations of a building declared an Asset of Cultural Interest and cataloged as a National Monument. It is located within a Protected Natural Area and blends incredibly with the landscape. Cap Rocat has been completely renovated by Antonio Obradorwith great respect for its unique architecture and natural conditions. A project recognized, among other awards, with the Europa Nostra award. Cap Rocat is much more than a hotel, it is an architectural and environmental conservation project, but it is also a tribute to all those travelers who understood that visiting a new place contributes to generating a legacy of love and respect for other cultures and ways of life. . This legacy is the essence of the Vignetti – Obrador photo collection, which is preserved and can be visited in the Cap Rocat museum. Enjoying trips as the vital experience they are, without rushing, and with the aim of growing spiritually is the entity and philosophy of Cap Rocat. A journey for the senses that reconnects us with the love of our own through the unknown.
