The Oak Barn

As soon as we walked into The Oak Barn we just knew that this would be the perfect place for our wedding and we made the right choice! What an amazing weekend we had surrounded by our family & friends. The venue is simply stunning, so welcoming & relaxing. Katharine & John went out of their way to ensure that we and all our guests had the best time. From the gorgeous little Acorn Barn to all the lovely accommodation, the breath taking gardens and the superb Oak Barn itself for the reception, every little detail is absolutely beautiful. Thank you Katharine & John for truly making our wedding day the special day of which dreams are made xxx

I cannot recommend this venue enough. Katherine and John were fantastic and really made our weekend special. Throughout the entire planning process they were extremely responsive, helpful and organised. Katherine had lots of really helpful suggestions and was happy to offer us anything she had onsite that would fit our themes. This made the planning stages easy rather than stressful! All of the accommodation is excellent and an extremely high standard.

I don't even know where to begin. From start to finish Katherine and John have been sensational. From AMAZING accommodation to being the most helpful hosts in the world, this was amazing. Our wedding was entirely outdoors and the gardens were just stunning. We have had so many people say it was the best wedding ever.

This place is just magical! The hosts are super lovely and really helpful! It's a truly wonderful place to get married! We were lucky enough to have an outdoor ceremony below the giant oak! The rooms are superb. The two areas for the bride and groom to get ready in are stunning and so fit for purpose! Once again, it is just such a magical place to get married!

We got married at the oak barn in June 24, the venue was so beautiful with varied accommodation/entertainment space on offer. It was a dreamy location for a stylish barn wedding, offering space for up to 90 seated guests - we have 86 and it was perfect! Thank you so much for all your help and support! Mat and Bella

I attended the Oak Barn as maid of honour for my cousins wedding at the weekend. I want to give a big thank you to Katherine and John for being such fabulous and attentive hosts. The venue is beautiful, with gorgeous well maintained gardens, the oak barn is a lovely size with lots of lovely features (the beams and the nook upstairs are just lovely). The perfect place to host a wedding. I was lucky enough to stay in one of the rooms of The Linhay. The room and bathroom were beautiful.

I attended the Oak Barn as part of a wedding party this weekend. The owner Katherine was simply incredible, very welcoming, supportive and helpful throughout the whole weekend. The venue is amazing for a wedding and it was great you could put your own stamp on it. The accommodation was great for those of us staying on site, tea and coffee provided and Katherine took the time to show us around. Thank you so much Katherine for helping make Lynnette and Jason’s day everything they envisaged.
