The Backyard has been constructed with exactly that in mind, but with space for up to 300 of your closest friends and family to join you. Located in the heart of Saskatoon, everyone will feel at home in The Backyard as you come together to celebrate a day you will never forget! Indoor Space Our 9,600 square foot venue is thoughtfully designed with 30 foot ceilings, beautiful cedar accents and numerous large windows that fill the space with natural light. The Backyard can accommodate up to 300 guests but can also be adjusted to provide an intimate space for gatherings of smaller sizes. The main floor includes separate space for the bar and the caterers. Upstairs has private get-ready rooms for your wedding party that are equipped with their own washrooms. Next to the wedding party quarters, there is a spacious loft that overlooks the entire main floor, a perfect vantage point to take in all the festivities on your special day. Outdoor Space At nearly half an acre, our outdoor grounds are an expansive private park, fully fenced in to provide privacy and a feeling of intimacy not commonly found within the city. The outdoor space include a patio with custom pergola and seating area for guests to gather under. Beautiful greenery, flowers, vines and lush lawn surrounded by trees are a bit of what you can expect in The Backyard's backyard. The entire outdoor area is softly lit with edison style string lights around the perimeter. The Backyard is spacious enough to give you the flexibility to host both the ceremony and the reception either inside or outside, depending on what your heart desires and how the weather cooperates.
