Facilities and capacity
This venue has a number of facilities divided between the North Magazine and the surrounding grounds of the citadel which include:
The Garrison Room: A popular space for weddings and business meetings and depending on the type of tables used, it has a capacity of up to 60 seated guests. It can be combined with the Naval and Artillery rooms for wider options.
The Naval Room: This space is perfect for business meetings and can seat 12 people.
The Artillery Room: This is another smaller space that can seat 8 people.
The Soldiers' Library & Coffee Bar: This is a combined space which was once a library and club for soldiers during their leisure time. It has a capacity for 72 seated guests.
The North Front Casemates: These are four 19th century rooms which connect and offer limitless ways for guests to move from space to space. Casemates C26, C27 and C29 seat up to 60 guests each.

History
Built in 1749, this historic site in Halifax was one of four main overseas naval stations of the British empire. Completed in 1856 it remains one of the mighty forts overlooking the city and harbour.
