ABOUT Markus and Katherine Feiel have been “feeding the Islands” for over 25 years! ​ They moved to Nova Scotia in 1995 and began operating Seaside Lunch, a busy takeout on the wharf in Tiverton, Long Island. They sold the business after 12 years and continued to work in the food industry, most recently, operating Brier Islands’ Lighthouse Café for the last three years. ​ They have been told that they have the “best fish’ n ’chips ever!” too many times to count. They take pride in their food and are very excited to be launching their newest adventure at the Brier Island Lodge, Grandview on Brier. ​ Grandview on Brier is aptly named for the spectacular views of Grand Passage which can be enjoyed from all the windows in the dining room and lounge.
