Nice location close to our wedding venue. Room positioned behind the entrance and with a nice view of the pond. Felt tranquil.

Great place to stay very clean and staff couldn’t help us enough we had a family wedding so there was 20 or more people staying restaurant was delicious no complaints from anyone!

My partner and I held our engagement party turned surprise wedding at York on Lilydale recently and the function manager Bec, went above and beyond for it! Nothing was too big or too small for her and her team, I cannot fault them one bit!

Stayed here for a wedding on Friday night. It was a pretty good sleep, and everything was clean and tidy. Didn't see an obvious hot breakfast option on the menu, but were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary cold breakfast pack for booking directly. Comfy bed, good heater, but a bit draughty from gaps between the door/doorframe, and the door banged most of the night due to windy weather.

What a great little place to stay. We booked here for 2 nights to attend a Wedding at the Chateau next door. This was perfect. There is a walking track that leads directly to it from the hotel and it’s only a 5min walk. The room was very clean and the fixtures and fittings all in good condition. The room was more spacious than expected and the outlook over the lake was pretty and private allowing us to have the blinds open and still not seeing any other neighbours.

The facilities here were so beautiful, clean and abundant in offerings. We were invited to an engagement/30th birthday in the lovely function room, traveling from NSW, and we’re so pleasantly surprised on arrival at seeing the large hotel, drive through bottle shop, restaurant as well as function room and pokies lounge and bar. The stunning outdoor area with gazebo and pool was spacious and aesthetically pleasing.
