Imagine... A private wedding venue that is yours for the day... You arrive and are greeted by our historic homestead, nestled in privacy amongst large, established gardens on the banks of the Jordan River, just 25 minutes north of Hobart... Your special day begins with your choice of an outdoor ceremony with a number of beautiful garden locations... Or an indoor ceremony in our circa. 1824 historical cottage...​ Drinks and canapés are served after the ceremony, providing a casual cocktail style of entertainment and time for photos before the reception... Moving inside to the main reception room, alternative drop starters prepared with fresh, local ingredients will be waiting for you and your guests... The nourishment evolves to a buffet style main course, followed by desserts and is accompanied by a selection of Tasmanian cheeses, tea & coffee throughout the night... After dessert, your band or DJ is at the ready and the dance floor is yours... As the sun sets, the private gardens will be lit with candles, festoon, fairy and flood lights through the trees... Fire pots keep you warm while you enjoy the rest of your special day.
