We offer venue spaces to suit your guest list. There are garden and indoor ceremony locations. For the Wedding Reception we offer the Gallery, Barrel Room and Balmain Banquet Hall. Micro Weddings and Elopements can be celebrated indoors in the Subterranean Cellar or The Salon. We can accommodate weddings for an intimate group of 20 to a larger celebration of 200 guests.

Yes, absolutely. If you still prefer an outside location, we have the Balmain Pavillion adjacent to the Banquet Hall, wrapped in jasmine clouds and formal hedging. Alternatively, there is an immaculate, but rustic, packing shed facing the southern vineyard, overseeing the old vines of Navera and Frontignac. It has the history of wine production with the softening of energetic wisteria. If indoors is your favour, The Gallery is chapel-like and full of light. Yes, our intention with creating Balmain Estate as a Blank Canvas venue, was to appeal to a greater scope of wedding couples. We have preferred vendors to recommend, but there is no obligation. You may have a favourite caterer or restaurant that you wish to custom design a menu for your wedding. Of course, just let us know and our Venue Manager will work out all the logistical details. We have a licensed Commercial Kitchen on site if this is required. The open market approach makes the catering flexible to unlimited wedding customs and styles. Your imagination is free.

Yes, Balmain Estate has a wine production license and offers a range for in-house weddings. We presently have three tiered packages. We also supply an additional large selection of specially selected wines from alternate vineyards. Wine tastings available. Additional Alcoholic and Non items can be included to your taste. Popular additions are the Balmain Spritz Bar and Balmain Sparkling Tower. There is a lot to celebrate. Many options, talk to our friendly Venue Manager.

Exclusive venue hire includes - A bridal getting ready space, 'The Salon' from 9am on the day. Extensive vineyard, gardens and function spaces. Ceremony furniture including 32 chairs and a beautiful signing table. A couple of wine barrels and tall tables. Venue staff perform ceremony set up and drinks service. A dedicated Venue Manager assists with all logistics. Further furniture requirements may be available onsite, just enquire.

Maximal or Minimal, Neo-Rustic or Regal, Romantic or Modern, it is all your choice. Stylists and planners can be used to assist and guide you. We have the pleasure of seeing different visions come to life in our wedding spaces. Many and varied, all are welcome. We have anchor points for sophisticated lighting fit-outs and appropriate rings for draping fixings. Keep your feet on the floor. Professionals use our scissor lift to curate the large and high styling. The rest is yours, coordinate with our Venue Manager for Bump-In and Bump-Out requirements.

We are located in Millendon. A little clearer for you, we are in the heart of the Swan Valley, Western Australia. Between Great Northern Highway and the Darling Scarp. A location near grapevines and horses, with a special rural elegance.

Yes, there is a one way ring road around the estate. The entrance in is through an old Italian villa double gate, you pass the jacaranda row, the old rose garden, the cork oaks, towering white gums and a Southern Vineyard block. Further up past the 1919 Apricot tree, past The Salon terraces on the right and you are entering Balmain Estate wedding garden territory. In front of the Balmain Estate Gallery entrance, guests with wheelchairs or limited mobility can be assisted from the vehicle at the front door. A large parking area is off to the left and easily accessible, as it is all on the same level. The roadways and parking are all clearly marked. We ask traffic to move at 8km/hr at all times to maintain the tranquil calm and time to take it all in. Vendors use a back entrance so the front of house is always beautiful. If you wish to arrange bus transport for your guests, we can accommodate a drop off and pick up and have an out-of-the-way waiting zone.
