Place was ideally located in Fitzroy North and the fit out made the place look spectacular. We loved the dome roof and arches. Jade was a great help in the lead up working with us and our planner. The caterers and other vendors we had come in worked seamlessly with 75 reid crew. Would highly reccomend for a cool inner city wedding party. However, we found this at 75 Reid St. The Reid street building is gorgeous. The rustic red brick and timeless herringbone roof made the perfect backdrop for our wedding reception. Quick with email responses and flexible and accommodating with times and tours. Jade was fantastic to work with and helped to make the day what it was. She helped us to create the ideas that we had in our head.Looking for beautiful and affordable wedding venues these days can seem like an impossible task! "Our ceremony was held in an auditorium in Fitzroy. It was in a beautiful space that was constructed in the 1920s and used as a safe space for local kids. We had a Srilankan Poruwa ceremony there, which was so special to me as it involved my roots and where my parents came from."75 Reid St were super helpful throughout the whole process, let us come in a little earlier to set up the alter, and we were able to provide our own refreshments. We wanted to find a location which was walking distance from the Chuppah (ceremony) so that the whole wedding could walk together to the reception. When 75 Reid St is not hired out for weddings, it is used by local community groups. Knowing this was an added bonus layer and feeling to the overall day.Our friends got married at 75 Reid St and we were inspired by how the large hall and high ceilings had enough character and blank walls to be transformable to any occasion with any intention.
